We play out of a bar named Tavern on the Grand and in the beginning on our 301 games, whenever someone had 69 to go out and won the game, we bought that person a shot. After playing together for several seasons we decided to give our team a name instead of using just the bar name, but still wanted to incorporate the bar in with the name, so came the Grand Slam 69ers.
